Elgibility Criteria  
              
              
              The  applicant shall have secured 55% or more marks in Master’s or its equivalent  CGPA grade for general category  and 5% less for reserve category.
 Selection  of candidate under JRF category 
 
 DMIHER (DU) is offering 25 stipendiary posts of Junior Research  Fellows (JRF) to the selected Doctoral  Scholars enrolled under the Doctoral  Degree Programme, across all faculties  namely Medicine, Dentistry,  Ayurveda, Physiotherapy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Interdisciplinary Sciences, Allied Health Sciences,  Commerce & Management & Faculty of Engineering  and Technology.
The tenure for Fellowship under the DMIHER [DU) Doctoral Fellowship Program
  is for three [3] years and shall commence from the date of registration for Ph.D. [approval  of synopsis by DRC).
A separate notification shall be issue by the University from eligible registered candidates for selection to the  post of JRF.
 
  The stipend for JRF shall be as follows: 
  - First Year Rs. 25000/- per month
- Second Year Rs. 26000/- per month
- Third Year Rs.27000/-  per month
- The JRF shall devote full time to research during the tenure of the fellowship and will not be permitted to take any part-time/full-time assignments.
  - The nature of the  candidature [Full-time Doctoral  Fellow) will not be changed during the program.
- The Ph.D. rules / regulations and disciplinary rules of the University will be applicable to all admitted candidates under this Program.
- The JRF shall furnish an  undertaking that in case of leaving the seat within the duration of Fellowship, he/she shall be liable to refund the entire amount of stipend  received by him/her till the date of his/her leaving the Program.
- The Ph.D. Scholars shall be admitted  under the Doctoral  Fellowship
- Program of DMIHER (DU) and shall not have any claim to a job, or any other claim related to employment in DMIHER (DU).
- Selection  of JRF shall be done as per university rules.
Eligibility of International Candidates  for Admission to the Doctoral  Program (Ph.D.)
  - Any  candidate who has passed Post Graduate Degree (Master’s Degree) Examination of  the Statutory Foreign University or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto recognized as equivalent  by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in India or a professional  degree declared equivalent to the  Master’s Degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body in the concerned/relevant subject with at  least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) 
- Applications which are received  through the GOI, under ‘Study in India’ portal.
- Equivalence certificate  issued by the AIU for PG degree and marks for credit 
- Relevant documents & Certificates (Mark-sheet & degree  Certificate of qualifying  Exam.
