Almost everything that affects our lives today incorporates computing and computer technology.
Given the expanding use of digital technology across most sectors and areas, the demand for digital
tools and applications has never been higher. People with the capacity to create innovative designs
and software that is dependable and supportable will be in great demand.
The Computer Science and Design Engineering program has been created to produce graduates with
knowledge of design methodologies, new media technologies and applications, and computing
techniques, tools, and technologies. The Computer Science and Design (C.S.D.) degree includes core
design courses and a solid programming foundation. Students will be equipped to work in both the
I.T. and digital media industries as a result. Graduation in C.S.D. seeks to offer a comprehensive
career program to prepare students with the most up-to-date design technology to influence future
generations. Students will develop an interdisciplinary skill set through this course that will equip
them for a range of careers in areas like the arts, entertainment/games, animation,
virtual/augmented reality, mobile application development, multimedia, product/web design,
cybersecurity, and other interactive systems across various industries.
